I had the BEST day last week. I found out that me and my two friends got accepted for a stunning house and then came home to find a purple little package. My Velvetines Lipstick arrived! It had been 3 weeks and I was getting a bit anxious. But it was well worth the wait. What appealed to me about this lipstick (aside from the gorgeous packaging) was the ease of applying and the great matte finish. I was a tad sceptical to whether it would look the same on myself but it really did live up to its reputation. Deffinately a worthy purchase.

I deffinately recommend it if you're a lipstick lover. It does not budge! Even when eating greasy foods I only have to touch up the corners. The only thing I will suggest is getting an oil based makeup remover as it tends to stain your lips. But if that's the price to pay to have a lipstick that doesn't move an inch, well it's totally worth it!

ReplyDeleteHappiest congrats on your new shared home! It can be so nerve racking when you're waiting to find out if your application has been accepted for a house you really want to move into. There's just something so awesome and uplifting about ending the year on a great note like that - you have to hope that it's a sign of things to come for 2013.

WOW! I've seen this around lately but no one has posted what it looks like on and I am impressed! It looks so wonderful on you! I am definitely going to look into getting some because I would love a lipstick that isn't annoying when it comes to eating. I always have to wipe mine off when it comes to eating most things.

Oh I love Lime Crime, but I never bought a Velvetine lipstick. I always went for the normal lipsticks. This one looks wonderful on you and your review is tempting me to order as well. Love, Sara xx
